Lenora Brooks currently serves as the safety manager for Engineered Systems, Inc. located in Duncan, SC. Lenora has worked in both construction and general industry for over 25 years. Lenora is a former safety professional from E.I. DuPont, where she underwent intensive training in safety management from one of the world leaders. She is currently authorized as an OSHA outreach trainer and finished her Process Safety Management training at Georgia Tech, in Atlanta, GA, in March 2010. Lenora is proficient in the areas of both construction and general industry safety standards. Lenora has served as disaster captain for the American Red Cross and was part of the lead team during the 9-11 crisis. Lenora has been nominated twice for the Clara Barton National Award, to recognize her achievements while serving as Disaster Captain. Lenora spent three years serving on the board of directors for the local chapter of the American Red Cross. Lenora’s affiliations include the AMA, ADA, ARC, OSHA, ASME, ANSI and NFPA.
