Engineered Systems, Inc. will be the most comprehensive, local provider of Crane and Hoist products and services in the Southeast. We will do so by focusing on people, professionalism, position, product, price and presentation.
History
Engineered Systems, Inc. was founded in 1969 by Mr. Larry LaPlue, PE. The principle focus of the early years was to provide quality “engineered crane and hoist systems” to customers in the Carolinas and Georgia. It was not long before Mr. LaPlue discovered that there was a great need for quality hoist and crane services in this region. Over the last fifty-one years, Engineered Systems, Inc. has become the premier hoist and crane service company in the Carolinas and one of the largest in the country. We now offer a complete range of services, from field inspections and repairs, to load testing, and the in-shop repairs of hoists.
During the past thirty-five years, Engineered Systems, Inc. has expanded their business, to become one of the most comprehensive crane and hoist companies in the south. From the design, fabrication, and installation of cranes and hoists, to the provision of quality service, with a fully stocked parts department, we now supply hoist and crane parts for all makes and models all over the world. We keep in stock a large inventory of new hoists. Providing crane operator safety training, fall protection systems, and solutions for ergonomic handling problems, Engineered Systems, Inc. does it all. We can offer turn key jobs on any size project.
